The Drama of Dorm Living.

A question of ethics

So i have a bit of a question to ask? It is widely know that puppymills are the devil and that buying from one id a bad idea. Well, what about the animals in pet stores? Although they were bred in a puppy mill, don't they deserve love too? shouldn't they find the same happiness as animals in a shelter?

it isnt their fault that they were bred in a puppy mill. So when people say "don't buy it from a pet store" it bothers me, because these animals <puppies more specifically> are left to live in these small cubicles because the person who breeded their parents was irresponsible. thats like not adopting a child because their parents were irresponsible. They shuld be abandoned because of a persons mistakes. How about we try to stop the affiliation between puppy mills and pet stores instead of just telling people that they shouldnt buy from pet stores. I understand its not going to be easy but it is a first step. Inform people about puppy mills and their affiliation with pet stores. but lets not forget about the animals. If people understand that because they were from a puppy mill, there will be medical complications and costs in the future. If they are willing to adopt the puppy/dog afterwards then let them. those animals need a home just as much as any other.

Lets not ignore these beautiful companions because of where they were born..but show them love by adopting them and by fighting against puppy mills. Just cause we are against there birthing place doesnt mean we are against them.

Let me know what you think...
